Storage water heater for solar systems with dual heat source

The OKC200NTRR/SOL water heater is an advanced solution for dual-system heating installations, utilizing solar energy as the primary heat source and a traditional boiler as support. The 200 liter capacity tank is designed specifically for solar systems with the possibility of connecting a heating boiler.

Construction and protective materials

The tank is made of steel coated with Crystal Enamel® ceramic enamel, which provides an effective anti-corrosion barrier. Additional protection is provided by a magnesium anode, which is standardly installed in the device.

The outer casing is made of hard plastic in gray color, which is characterized by increased resistance to dirt and mechanical damage. Thanks to this, the heater maintains an aesthetic appearance for many years of use, and its maintenance is significantly simplified.

Dual heat exchanger system and thermal insulation

The device is equipped with two heat exchangers (coils) with a surface area of 0.8 m² each. The lower exchanger is connected to the solar installation, where it utilizes free solar energy to heat the water. The upper exchanger provides a connection to a traditional heat source—most often a heating boiler—which takes over the heating function when solar energy is insufficient.

To minimize heat loss, insulation made of ThermoGen® rigid polyurethane foam with a thickness of 50 mm has been used. Such insulation significantly reduces the energy consumption required to maintain water temperature, which translates into lower operating costs.

The device operates at a permissible working pressure of 10 bar and is characterized by standing losses of only 82W. The "C" energy efficiency class testifies to a very high standard of materials while maintaining an optimal ratio between efficiency and purchase and operating costs.

Installation and additional functions

The heater can be placed directly on the floor thanks to adjustable feet, which allow for precise leveling of the device. A thermometer is mounted on the casing, allowing for continuous water temperature reading and monitoring of the heater's operation.

An additional advantage is the 6/4" connection, which enables the installation of an electric heating element as an emergency heat source. This solution ensures access to hot water even in the event of a failure of the main heating systems.
