Dual-system storage water heater for solar installations

The OKC300NTRR/SOL water heater is an advanced solution for heating domestic hot water in dual-system heating setups. Thanks to its design equipped with two independent coils, the device enables the simultaneous use of solar energy and a traditional heating boiler.

Construction and materials ensuring durability

The 300 liter capacity tank is made of the highest quality steel, coated with Crystal Enamel® ceramic enamel. This advanced coating protects internal surfaces from corrosion processes. Additional protection is provided by a magnesium anode, which actively protects metal elements against corrosion.

The outer casing is made of hard plastic in gray color, which guarantees increased resistance to dirt and mechanical damage. This material is easy to keep clean and maintains an aesthetic appearance throughout years of use.

Thermal insulation is made of 50 mm thick ThermoGen® rigid polyurethane foam. This insulation thickness minimizes heat loss to an absolute minimum, which translates into lower operating costs and maintaining a constant domestic hot water temperature.

Application and system compatibility

The lower coil with a surface area of 1.2 m² is designed for connecting a solar installation, where it can serve a maximum solar collector absorber area of 6 m². The upper coil with a surface area of 0.8 m² allows for the connection of a traditional heat source - most commonly a heating boiler or a heat pump.

The device also provides the possibility of installing an electric heating element via a dedicated 6/4" connection, providing an emergency heat source or the possibility of reheating water during periods of limited sunlight.

To facilitate maintenance and the potential installation of additional equipment, a 150 mm diameter inspection opening is provided, built into the lower part of the heater. Adjustable feet allow for precise leveling of the device on the room floor.

Operating parameters and operational safety

The water heater operates at a permissible working pressure of 10 bar, ensuring safe operation even at high installation pressures. The device dimensions are approximately 600 mm in diameter and 1790 mm in height, with a weight of approximately 115 kg.

The "C" energy efficiency class confirms a very high standard of materials used and an optimal ratio of energy efficiency to purchase and operating costs. Standing loss is only 85 W, which testifies to excellent insulation parameters.

The built-in thermometer on the casing enables constant monitoring of water temperature and control of the entire heating system's operation.

The device meets all European standard requirements regarding the safety and energy efficiency of domestic hot water heating appliances.
