This double-pass plate heat exchanger is a solution designed for installations that require not only high thermal power but also resistance to extreme operating parameters. Thanks to its copper-brazed construction and the use of stainless steel, the unit operates reliably at temperatures up to 230 °C and at a working pressure of up to 30 bar. This is a key feature for high-parameter heating systems, heat pumps, or industrial installations where standard solutions might not withstand the loads.

The specifics of the double-pass model (designation 2S) enable higher heat exchange efficiency under more demanding flow parameters. The optimal shaping of flow channels provides an interesting compromise: on one hand, flow resistance is kept at a low level, reducing the load on circulation pumps, while on the other, flow turbulence is sufficient to prevent the accumulation of contaminants inside the channels. As a result, the heat exchanger maintains high efficiency over a long period, even with lower-quality water.

Construction and Corrosion Resistance

The material of construction is decisive for the durability of the entire system. The entire unit, including the heat exchanger plates and connections, is made of stainless steel. In the case of this model, we are dealing with a version equipped with six stainless steel flanges (DN80), which significantly facilitates installation in large industrial or commercial systems. This material selection guarantees high corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in refrigeration or heating systems with aggressive working media.

The tightness of the construction is not accidental – it results from the brazing process carried out in a vacuum furnace. The permanent bonding of the plates eliminates the risk of micro-cracks and ensures reliability over years of operation without the need for gasket maintenance (as there are simply no gaskets).
