This two-pass plate heat exchanger from the L-line series is designed for installations requiring high performance while maintaining compact dimensions. Thanks to its copper-brazed construction and the use of stainless steel in critical components, this model is suitable for both heating and cooling systems, operating at temperatures up to 230 °C. Its design enables efficient heat transfer in liquid-to-liquid circuits, making it a versatile component in industrial installations and large commercial facilities.

Applications and Key Design Advantages

The optimized shaping of internal flow channels ensures an excellent compromise between low flow resistance and high thermal performance. As a result, the heat exchanger not only transfers energy efficiently but also prevents the accumulation of contaminants, which is crucial for long-term operation. The tightness of the entire structure is guaranteed by vacuum furnace brazing – the permanent bonding of plates eliminates the risk of micro-cracks and ensures joint durability even under significant pressure and temperature fluctuations.

Special attention should be paid to the two-pass version (designated by the symbol 2S), which was developed for more demanding operating parameters. This construction allows for higher heat exchange performance without increasing the physical dimensions of the unit.

Technical Parameters and Operating Conditions

The unit is designed for operation at a high working pressure of 30 bar, making it suitable for high-pressure systems. Connections on both sides (primary and secondary) have a nominal diameter of DN 80, allowing for the flow of large quantities of working fluid while maintaining acceptable flow velocities. All connections are made as stainless steel flanges (6 pieces), facilitating their connection to main pipelines and ensuring the tightness of bolted joints.

The maximum flow temperature reaches 230 °C, and the unit dimensions are 788 mm in height and 310 mm in width. The copper-brazed construction ensures high thermal conductivity and resistance to pressure and temperature variations. The unit can also be adapted to fit an insulation jacket, minimizing heat loss at pipe penetrations through walls or floors. Thanks to turbulent flow of the working medium, high heat exchange efficiency is achieved even with smaller temperature differences between circuits. Installation is straightforward thanks to standard flange connections, and compliance with PED, ASME, and UL standards guarantees safety in demanding industrial installations.
