Insulation kit for contact waterproofing

The HL83.M insulation kit is a complete system for the leak-proof connection of floor drains with thin-layer waterproofing layers. It consists of a stainless steel ring with laminated non-woven fabric, an EPDM flexible membrane measuring 400×400 mm, and a set of mounting elements.

High-quality construction and materials

The main component is a profiled stainless steel flange measuring 196×114 mm/Ø400 mm, made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Included in the kit is an EPDM membrane measuring 400×400 mm with laminated textile non-woven fabric, which ensures excellent adhesion to polymer and epoxy masses.

A flexible lip seal measuring 180×6 mm made of durable EPDM material ensures the tightness of the connection. The set is completed by stainless steel screws measuring 6,3×16 mm (6 pieces), which secure the entire construction.

Universal application and compatibility

The kit is designed to work with a wide range of floor drains from the HL70, HL80, HL90, HL92, HL300, HL304, HL310, and HL510 series. Additionally, it is compatible with the HL85N series top pieces.

Various types of contact waterproofing:

• Two-component polymer-bituminous masses
• Epoxies and epoxy resins
• Glass fiber
• Sealing slurry (liquid membranes)

Operating parameters and durability

The device operates in a wide temperature range from -50°C to +100°C, allowing its use both inside buildings and on external terraces or balconies. The declared service life is up to 50 years.

The entire kit weighs only approximately 0,281 kg, which facilitates transport and installation without loading the structure. Compact dimensions allow for easy maneuvering during installation, even in hard-to-reach places.
