Floor inlets for wet areas – reliable drainage and protection against odors
This vertical ceiling inlet, with a connection flange, is a solution for demanding installations. Designed for draining water in areas exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms or utility rooms. Its construction combines functionality, durability and aesthetics.
Construction and application
The inlet is equipped with a Primus blue anti-odor trap, which effectively blocks unpleasant odors from the sewer, even when there is no water in the trap – which is particularly important in rarely used rooms. This ensures comfort and hygiene. Suitable for connection with pipes with a diameter of DN50, DN75 and DN110. The stainless steel top with a decorative grate not only protects against larger debris entering the sewer, but also constitutes an aesthetic element of the interior finish. The Klick-klack locking system facilitates cleaning and maintenance.
- The connection flange allows for a tight connection with the waterproofing layer – simply use a sealing kit from the HL83 series (available separately).
- Height adjustment of the top in the range of 12-70mm allows you to adapt the inlet to different thicknesses of floor layers.
- Flow rate of 0.5 l/s ensures efficient water drainage.
- Thermal resistance up to 85°C means that the inlet can be used in places exposed to higher temperatures (e.g. near radiators).
- Possibility of extension with simple and collar extensions (HL340N, HL85N, HL85NC, HL85NH) allows you to adapt the drainage to specific ceiling conditions.
Remember to choose the appropriate HL83 sealing kit to ensure a complete seal with the waterproofing. This is crucial to avoid problems with leaks and moisture in the future.
