Simple Thermostatic Valve with BB Insert

This valve is designed for water-based heating systems and features a wide-range BB insert that can be replaced without stopping the flow—i.e., without draining the system, even under pressure. This is a significant advantage during maintenance or when replacing the temperature sensor in the middle of the heating season.

The body is made of forged brass with a nickel-plated surface, providing corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. The valve insert is also brass, equipped with EPDM O-rings and soft seals that ensure tightness over multiple opening and closing cycles. The stem is made of stainless steel, while the setting dial is plastic, enabling precise and durable operation.

The protective knob made of black plastic shields the mechanism from mechanical damage and unintended setting changes. The nut and nipple are made of nickel-plated brass, ensuring compatibility with standard radiator connections.

Pipe connection: 1/2 inch (DN15). No preset adjustment—the valve responds solely to ambient temperature without additional manual regulation. Its simple form makes it ideal for installation in confined spaces or with radiators featuring side connections.

No special tools are required to replace the insert—a wrench for the nut is sufficient. The process takes less than 5 minutes, and the system remains operational.

Compatible with typical heating systems in single-family and multi-family buildings. Not suitable for steam circuits or high-pressure industrial installations.
