The DN25 switching three-way valve is a professional solution for flow control in HVAC installations. Thanks to its ability to function as either a diverting or a switching valve, it is suitable for both heating and cooling systems, ensuring flexible medium management in installations.
Design and materials ensuring long-term operation
The valve body is made of corrosion-resistant bronze that contains no zinc - this eliminates the problem of dezincification typical of traditional brass alloys. Double O-ring sealing guarantees tightness throughout the entire service life, and the stainless steel used for the stem ensures resistance to the medium.
A key design advantage is the ability to replace the external O-ring without the need to drain the installation. This feature significantly simplifies maintenance work and minimizes system downtime - which is particularly important in installations with large water capacities.
Operating parameters and system compatibility
The valve operates in a temperature range from 2°C to 120°C, maintaining full functionality at a working pressure of PN 10. The Kvs value of 5.12 defines the flow capacity at full valve opening - this parameter allows for precise selection of the device for a specific application.
The allowable pressure differential is 0.50 bar, which enables the use of the valve in installations with varied hydraulic conditions. When working with actuators, the medium temperature can reach 100°C while maintaining full device efficiency.
Installation and practical operation
The 1" internal thread enables standard connection to the installation using threaded, brazed, or welded fittings - installation flexibility allows for adaptation to existing systems without the need to modify the infrastructure.
The axis height and stroke length of 2mm each guarantee precise flow control even with small changes in the valve stem position. This characteristic is particularly important when regulating temperature in zones with different heat demands.
The valve is compatible with Heimeier thermostatic heads, which allow for intermediate positions - this function enables variable distribution of the medium stream between individual circuits of the heating or cooling installation.
