Effective microbubble separation thanks to helical technology

The Zeparo Aero air separator utilizes an innovative helical microbubble separation method, which combines the most important principles of separation into one comprehensive solution. This process works in two stages – first, the reduction in flow directs large bubbles directly to the upper part of the degasser, and then smaller microbubbles attach to the spirally arranged vanes of the special Helistill insert.

The Helistill insert forms the heart of the separation system, combining horizontal and vertical elements in a way that enables the capture of larger air bubbles and promotes coalescence – the process of smaller bubbles merging into larger structures. This allows microbubbles to rise more easily in the central column of the device and reach the upper part of the separator.

Reliable venting with an automatic valve

The automatic air vent is an integral part of the system, ensuring the safe and continuous discharge of separated gas to the environment. The design of the air vent has been specifically developed for operation in a large chamber with limited medium flow.

A special design solution keeps dirt and water away from the precision venting valve, even at high operating pressures of up to 10 bar. The float operates stably without the risk of sticking, which eliminates the leakage problem characteristic of standard solutions.

Automatic venting ensures the constant removal of air accumulating behind the float in the upper part of the device, from where it is then removed outside the installation without operator intervention.

Universal application in heating, solar, and cooling installations

The Zeparo Aero separator has been designed for operation in various HVAC systems – from heating installations and solar systems to cooling installations. The device is suitable for both new installations and the modernization of existing systems.

The construction material is steel with increased corrosion resistance, painted in a beryllium color for additional corrosion protection. PN16 flange connections compliant with the EN-1092-1 standard allow for easy installation in existing systems.

The device operates effectively with non-aggressive and non-toxic media at temperatures from -10°C to 110°C at a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar. Operation is also possible with ethylene or propylene glycol-based anti-freeze agents with a concentration of up to 50%, which extends the range of applications to installations exposed to low temperatures.

The flow range is 6-24 m³/h with a nominal diameter of DN50 and an installation length of 350 mm.

Compliance with European standards and quality certificates

The separator design has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU regarding pressure equipment operating under pressure. This ensures full legal compliance in the European market and guarantees the highest standards of operational safety.

The flanges are manufactured according to the EN-1092-1 standard, which specifies the requirements for steel flanges for threaded and welded steel pipe connections for various pressure classes.

The horizontal model facilitates integration with existing installations and ensures optimal access to service elements during the device's operation.
