Advanced microbubble separation in HVAC systems

The Zeparo Aero ZA PN10 DN80 air separator is a professional solution for removing air from heating, solar, and cooling installations. It utilizes helical microbubble separation technology, which effectively eliminates both large bubbles and fine gas microbubbles.

Separation technology and device construction

The separation process begins with a flow reduction, which directs large bubbles directly to the upper part of the degasser. Simultaneously, smaller microbubbles adhere to spirally arranged blades, where they undergo natural coalescence into larger bubbles (coalescence effect). Once detached from the blades, these larger bubbles rise calmly in the central column to the upper part of the device.

The construction, made of high-quality beryllium-finished steel, ensures durability and an aesthetic appearance throughout its service life. An installation length of 470 mm and the possibility of horizontal mounting facilitate integration with existing systems.

Automatic venting and operational reliability

The built-in automatic air vent ensures continuous removal of separated gas bubbles to the environment. The special design of the float in a large, low-flow chamber keeps dirt and water away from the precision venting valve, even at high operating pressures.

This solution eliminates the risk of float sticking and air vent leaking, resulting in trouble-free operation for many years.

Operating parameters and medium compatibility

The device operates in a temperature range from -10°C to 110°C at a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar. The nominal diameter DN 80 and a flow range of 18...56 m³/h allow for optimal selection according to installation parameters.

The separator supports non-aggressive and non-toxic media, including ethylene or propylene glycol-based anti-freeze agents with a concentration up to 50%. The possibility of cleaning during operation and a built-in outlet tap significantly facilitate device servicing.

Compliance with standards and safety

The separator's design was developed in accordance with the requirements of the pressure directive PED 2014/68/EU, guaranteeing the highest safety standards. The flanges are manufactured according to the EN-1092-1 standard, ensuring connection reliability and compatibility with various installation systems.

The use of a flange-type connection enables easy installation and removal of the device during maintenance or modernization of HVAC installations.
