Hybrid heat pump for comfort and savings

This device combines the advantages of an air-to-water heat pump with a high-efficiency condensing gas boiler. This solution allows for efficient heating of the building and preparation of domestic hot water, regardless of weather conditions. On colder days, when the heat pump's performance drops, the gas boiler automatically joins in, ensuring continuity and stability of heating. The whole system works with an external DHW tank with a capacity of 32 kW.

The Magis Combo 14 Plus V2 T I heat pump is an ideal solution for buildings that require high heating power, but at the same time want to reduce fossil fuel consumption and lower operating costs. The device is characterized by a high energy efficiency class – A+++ at a supply temperature of 35°C and A+ at 55°C – which translates into lower energy bills. A high COP (4.44 in A7/W35 conditions) further confirms its energy saving.

Construction and adaptation possibilities

The device is distinguished by a wide range of power modulation (from 30% to 100%), which allows for precise adjustment to the current thermal needs of the building. The automation allows control of two heating zones, including one with a mixer, which increases comfort and allows for individual temperature settings in individual rooms. The built-in three-way valve with actuator facilitates connection of the DHW tank, and the ability to operate in heating or cooling mode – depending on the weather – ensures optimal conditions inside the building all year round. The condensing boiler is adapted to be powered by GZ50 gas or technical propane, which gives flexibility in fuel selection.

For installers:

  • The outdoor unit requires a three-phase power supply (400 V).
  • The device can operate at an external temperature of -25°C, which ensures reliable operation even at very low temperatures.
  • The possibility of extending the warranty to 5 years is an additional advantage for professionals offering installation of this system to their clients.

Air-to-water hybrid split heat pump
• Hybrid split device, combining in the indoor unit the elements of the heat pump with a single-function gas condensing boiler designed for cooperation with an external hot water tank, with a capacity of 32 kW. Combining a heat pump with a gas condensing boiler allows you to meet the building's total heating power requirements without the need to install additional heat sources in the system. In case of low outside air temperatures, the condensing boiler fully covers the heating power requirement of the building.
