Cable and measurement connector – a solid solution for installation connections

This freestanding cable and measurement connector, designed in accordance with the PGE Standard, is ideal for connecting a single installation. Its construction ensures a safe and reliable connection, and its well-thought-out equipment facilitates installation and subsequent operation. The connector is particularly useful in situations where precise control and measurement of energy consumption are required.

Equipment and functionality

In the cable compartment, we find busbars and two 400A rated strip fuse disconnectors, as well as one 160A disconnector. Additionally, the presence of a PEN bus ensures proper grounding. The measurement compartment is prepared for mounting a pre-meter protection and equipped with a TL-3f meter panel and a 4x35mm2 outgoing strip. Cables with a cross-section of 10mm2 guarantee adequate conductivity and safety. The entire construction has been designed with easy access to individual elements in mind during maintenance and possible repairs.

Safety and durability

The connector housing is characterized by a wall thickness of at least 3.5 mm and a flammability class of V0, which ensures high resistance to mechanical damage and fire. The IP44 protection class guarantees protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm and water splashes from any direction. The dimensions of the connector are 665 mm wide, 1940 mm high and 320 mm deep – it is worth considering them when planning the installation. The solid construction and materials used ensure long-term and trouble-free operation of the device in various environmental conditions.
