Cable cabinet for switchgear and circuit protection

The SK3-0/3 cable cabinet is a robust solution designed for free-standing or wall-mounted installation. It is used in systems for distributing and protecting electrical circuits against the effects of short circuits and overloads, powered by an alternating current network. The cabinet is particularly recommended for ENEA standard, but will also work well in other installations.

Construction and equipment

The cabinet housing is made of steel, and the wall thickness is at least 3.5 mm, which ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to damage. Fire resistance class V0 guarantees safety in the event of a fire. Inside the cabinet there are three line protection devices size 2 – fuse disconnectors with "V" type terminals, single-pole disconnectable. Tinned copper busbars with dimensions of 40 mm x 5 mm ensure efficient current flow, and the PEN busbar bent in the shape of the letter C with "V" type cable terminals facilitates grounding connection. At the ends of the PEN busbar there is a hole for an M12 screw, allowing the connection of an earthing strip.

The SK3-0/3 cabinet is characterized by dimensions of 400 mm (width), 1690 mm (height) and 250 mm (depth). The IP44 protection class provides protection against the ingress of solid objects with a diameter greater than 1 mm and against splashing water. This cabinet is ideal for mounting energy meters (eHZ domestic energy meter model), but can also be used in other applications requiring a solid and safe housing for electrical devices.
