Gas cabinet designed with safety and durability in mind, ideal for both industrial and residential installations. Made of SMC composite, it provides reliable protection for gas appliances, and its construction guarantees resistance to external factors. The SSTG model, with standard PSG finishing and RAL 1021 color, combines functionality and aesthetics.

Strength and Weather Resistance

The cabinet is made of SMC – a thermosetting glass fiber reinforced polyester composite. This material is characterized by exceptional resistance to weathering, aggressive chemicals, and mechanical deformation. The fire reaction class compliant with PN-EN 13501-1 standard (flame retardant, self-extinguishing plastic) further enhances safety. The cabinet retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -50°C to +85°C – and is resistant to UV radiation, ensuring long-lasting color stability.

The cabinet's design minimizes the risk of mechanical damage. Interlocking of the housing elements effectively prevents deformation during assembly and operation. The door, seated around the entire perimeter with a stabilizing rim, prevents accidental entry and protects against rainwater ingress. The outer surface makes it difficult for dirt to accumulate and is moisture resistant.

Functionality and Installation

The SSTG gas cabinet is designed for wall mounting, making it easy to install in various locations. It is equipped with a single connection for low pressure, which simplifies and speeds up the gas meter installation – eliminates mounting stresses, ensures proper center distance, and reduces the number of threaded connections. The frame and single connection are made of materials with galvanic coating, guaranteeing corrosion protection.

The lack of a sight glass (window) on the door increases security and hinders unauthorized access to the cabinet interior. A universal metal lock with a galvanic coating protects against unauthorized access, and the key is included with the cabinet. Ventilation is natural through air vents with a total area of at least 2% of the cabinet's cross-section. Durable inscriptions "GAS" and "Property of PSG" are located on the door.
