Halogen-free corrugated pipe for electrical installations

Halogen-free corrugated pipe, black, designed for laying and protecting cables in electrical installations, especially where increased fire protection is required. Made of modified polyamide 6 (PA6), it is characterized by the absence of halogens in its composition, which minimizes the emission of toxic substances during combustion. This is particularly important in places with stricter safety requirements. The pipe with a pull cord (steel wire) facilitates cable pulling over longer distances.

Properties and application

These pipes are used in industrial installations exposed to high temperatures and mechanical loads. Thanks to its flexibility and compression resistance (320 N), it provides reliable cable protection. They are ideal for indoor use, although outdoor use is permissible – however, prolonged exposure to UV radiation is not recommended. The material is resistant to many chemical compounds, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. An important feature is also the hygroscopicity of the material – it is important to remember the potential absorption of water (up to 9%) and the effect of high temperatures on mechanical resistance.
