This black, halogen-free RIL-PA6-HB-P corrugated pipe with a pull cord is a reliable solution for protecting cables in electrical installations, especially where high fire resistance and minimal emission of toxic substances during a fire are required. Made of modified polyamide 6 (PA6), it is characterized by flexibility and crush resistance up to 320 N. The pull cord (steel wire) facilitates cable pulling over longer distances, significantly speeding up and simplifying installation work.

The pipe is intended for use in places with increased fire safety requirements, such as industrial facilities, public buildings, or installations exposed to high temperatures. Thanks to its UV resistance (especially the black version), it can also be used in outdoor installations – although the manufacturer does not recommend direct outdoor use. The material is resistant to many chemical compounds, making it ideal for harsh environmental conditions.

Properties and application

The RIL-PA6-HB-P pipe meets the requirements of directive 2014/35/EU (LVD) and has a flammability rating of HB according to UL94. Its halogen-free composition ensures minimal emission of toxic gases during combustion, increasing user safety and reducing material damage. The flexible design makes it easy to route cables in complex installation systems. A wide range of operating temperatures (-25°C to +120°C, briefly up to +180°C) allows the pipe to be used in various climatic conditions.

Material characteristics and additional information

The pipe is made of modified polyamide 6 (PA6), which is characterized by high mechanical strength and impact resistance. This material is also resistant to many chemical substances, increasing the durability and reliability of the installation. It should be noted that polyamide is a hygroscopic material – it absorbs moisture from the air (up to 9%), which can affect its mechanical properties in extreme temperature conditions. High temperatures can also reduce impact and bending resistance.

The pipe is available in a standard version and with a pull cord to facilitate cable pulling – particularly useful for long installation runs. Other materials (PA6.6, PA4.6, PA11, PA12) are available on individual request.
