Installation pipe lightweight flame-retardant, halogen-free – reliable cable protection

The RIL-U_PP pipe is a flexible and safe solution for running electrical, heating and gas installations. Made of polypropylene (PP), it provides effective protection for cables and wires in both concealed and external installations. Particularly recommended for places with increased fire risk, such as wooden structures, attics or lofts. Its flexibility makes it easy to lay in hard-to-reach places, and the smooth cross-section minimizes resistance when pulling cables.

Safety and material properties

The pipe is characterized by a high degree of flame retardancy – standardly HB (UL94), with the possibility of modification to V-1, V-2 (UL94) or B-1, B-2 (DIN 4102) on request. The material is self-extinguishing and does not spread flames, which increases safety. Importantly, the pipe is halogen-free – it does not release toxic compounds during combustion, which is particularly important in residential and public buildings. Additionally, it is distinguished by significant tensile strength, hardness and high temperature resistance in the range of -25°C to 110°C. It is resistant to most chemicals, but less resistant to UV radiation.

Practical application and installation

The pipe with an inner diameter of 11 mm and an outer diameter of 15 mm is perfect for electrical installations in construction and industry. Thanks to its flexibility, it allows easy routing of cables even in complex systems. The compressive strength is 320 N, which ensures the stability of the structure. Low water absorption guarantees the maintenance of dielectric properties even in a humid environment. Installation is quick and easy – the pipe is easy to cut and connect to other installation elements. Available in practical sections of 100 meters, which minimizes the number of connections and speeds up installation work.
