Halogen-free corrugated pipe for electrical installations

The RIL-HF-FR 7x10 corrugated pipe is a flexible solution for safely routing cables in electrical installations. Made of polypropylene (PP), it provides effective cable protection, especially in areas with increased fire safety requirements. A key feature is its halogen-free property – it does not release toxic compounds during combustion, increasing user safety and minimizing the risk of equipment damage.

The pipe is characterized by good compression resistance (320 N) and flexibility, making installation easier even in difficult conditions. It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -25°C to +110°C, making it suitable for industrial and indoor applications. Thanks to its low water absorption, it maintains its dielectric and mechanical properties even in humid environments.

Application and properties

The RIL-HF-FR pipe is primarily used in electrical installations requiring a high level of fire safety and minimal emission of toxic gases during combustion. It is ideal for:

• Industrial installations exposed to high temperatures and mechanical loads.
• Public buildings where the protection of life and property is a priority.
• Places where halogen-free installations are required due to the nature of processes or stored substances.
• Protecting cables from mechanical damage and external factors.

Additionally, the pipe has flame retardancy compliant with UL94 HB standard, and modification to higher flammability classes (V-0, V-1, V-2 UL94 or B-1, B-2 DIN 4102) is available on request. It is also resistant to oils and many chemicals.

Construction and installation

The RIL-HF-FR 7x10 pipe with an outer diameter of 10 mm and an inner diameter of 7 mm is available in black color, wound on rolls of 100 meters in length. Its flexibility makes it easy to route cables in complex installation systems. The product meets the requirements of directive 2014/35/EU (LVD), confirming its safety and compliance with European standards. It is important to remember that the pipe is not intended for use outdoors exposed to direct UV radiation and should not be used in underground installations directly in the ground.
