Corrugated technical hose – protection and flexibility in one

Technical hoses designed for laying and protecting cables and electrical wires. They are characterized by high mechanical resistance, dielectric properties and resistance to most chemical compounds. This particular model, WKT-C, is longitudinally slit along its entire length, which facilitates its installation on existing cable bundles. Simply expand the hose and place it over the cables – a simple and quick solution. Made of polyethylene (PE), it offers good flexibility and impact resistance in a wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to +70°C. It is a flammable material, but exhibits low permeability to gases and vapors.

Specification and application

The WKT-C hose with an outer diameter of 52 mm and an inner diameter of 44 mm is available in black and supplied in 25 meter lengths. It finds application in the automotive industry, connecting industrial equipment, in control and automation systems and other electrical devices. It will work both in internal and external installations (with the proviso of no direct exposure to UV radiation). Thanks to its chemical resistance, it is suitable for environments with the presence of weak and strong acids, bases and many solvents.

It is worth mentioning its resistance to UV radiation, which allows it to be used in outdoor installations. However, it is not recommended for use in plasterboard walls or in places exposed to direct contact with fire or soil.
