Microducts for fiber optic installations – reliable protection and easy replacement

FiberGuard FGG is a microduct designed for guiding and protecting fiber optic cables in various installation conditions. Made of polyethylene (PE) with an inner diameter of 8 mm and an outer diameter of 10 mm, it provides optimal conditions for fiber optic cables, minimizing friction thanks to its special ribbed inner surface. Available in orange, on drums with a length of 200 meters, it facilitates identification and installation.

Universal application and durability

The FiberGuard FGG microduct is ideal for both underground installations, as well as in concrete, hollow walls and surface installations (screed). The flexible construction allows for easy routing in hard-to-reach places. The product is resistant to temperatures ranging from -25°C to 90°C, which guarantees its reliability in changing weather conditions. Made of medium-density polyethylene, it is characterized by high tensile strength and chemical resistance. Importantly, the tube has meter markings, which makes it easier to accurately measure the required length during installation.

Safety and compatibility

FiberGuard FGG is a halogen-free product, which increases safety, especially in enclosed spaces. Although the product is flammable, its construction allows for easy replacement of fiber optic cables even after many years of network operation. The tube is compatible with fiber-line accessories – a plug-in connection system providing reliable data transmission without interference. These accessories are made of durable plastics and have a two-stage lock for permanent securing of the microduct.
