Installation pipes for safe cable routing
RIL-U conduit is a reliable solution for protecting cables in building and industrial electrical installations. Both in concealed and external installations, it provides effective protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Particularly recommended where increased fire resistance is required – for example, in wooden structures, attics or lofts. Thanks to its flexibility, it facilitates cable routing even in complex routes.
Construction and properties
Made of modified polypropylene (PP), the RIL-U conduit is characterized by high tensile strength, hardness and rigidity. The material is self-extinguishing and does not spread flames, increasing safety. Importantly, the conduit is halogen-free – it does not release toxic substances during combustion, which is crucial for health and environmental protection. The compressive strength is 320 N, and the operating temperature range is from -25°C to +110°C. Low cross-sectional resistance facilitates pulling cables and media pipes even over long distances.
Application and compliance with standards
RIL-U conduit finds wide application in various industries – from construction to the automotive and aerospace industries. It can be used in internal wall installations (excluding direct exposure to UV radiation), concealed installations and in electrical equipment and industrial machines. The product complies with directive 2014/35/UE (LVD) and has a flammability rating of HB (UL94), with the possibility of modification to V-1, V-2 (UL94), B-1, B-2 (DIN 4102) on request. Thanks to its resistance to many chemical compounds, it will also perform well in harsh industrial conditions.
