The TUBUS 3 radiator from Instal-Projekt combines the traditional form of a ribbed radiator with modern functionality. This three-row model provides efficient room heating, and is ideal for both modern and retro-style interiors. Its universal appearance allows it to be adapted to various arrangements.

Construction and mounting options

The TUBUS 3 radiator is made of high-quality steel, which guarantees its durability and corrosion resistance. Thanks to precise workmanship and careful painting, it looks aesthetic and blends perfectly with different interior styles. It is standardly painted in white Silk (C35), but it is also possible to order it in other colors from the Instal-Projekt or RAL palette, as well as with a colorless varnish.

The choice of connection method to the central heating installation is wide:

• Side connection: universal – left or right, which facilitates installation in various configurations.
• Opposite (cross) connection: increases heating efficiency.
• V-type connection: connection spacing 50 mm, radiator rotation possible.
• Bottom central connection: spacing 50 mm (only for radiators with an even number of elements).
• Bottom side connection: left or right, spacing 50 mm.

Pipes with a round cross-section (diameter 25 mm) ensure optimal flow of the heating medium. The set includes all necessary mounting elements, an air vent and an operating manual.

Parameters and efficiency

The TUBUS 3 radiator with dimensions of 986 x 400 mm and consisting of 21 elements, is characterized by a heating power of 888 W (for ΔT=50K, 75/65/20°C). The maximum working pressure is 10 bar, and the permissible operating temperature is 95°C. The water capacity of the radiator is 13.65 liters. The used C characteristic allows it to react more slowly to short voltage surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well.

It provides effective protection of the installation against overload and short circuit — just like most circuit breakers in this class. Radiators are manufactured as ready-made modules with the required number of sections – it is not possible to connect or add individual elements.

Additionally, the manufacturer offers as much as 15 years warranty, which proves the high quality of the product and confidence in its durability.
