Halogen-free power cable – safety and reliability

The N2XH-O power cable with a cross-section of 240 mm², designed for fixed installations, is characterized by a high level of safety thanks to the use of halogen-free materials. This is crucial in places where the protection of life and property is required in the event of a fire – hospitals, schools, hotels, industrial facilities or public transport. The cable construction ensures limited emission of smoke and corrosive gases during combustion, minimizing the risk to health and facilitating evacuation.

Construction and application

This cable has a single stranded copper conductor of class 2 (multi-wire), insulated with polyolefin. The outer sheath made of polyolefin provides additional protection against mechanical damage and weathering. It is intended for installation in dry and humid rooms, on plaster, in brick walls and directly in concrete. It can be used both in underground installations (in cable ducts or pipes) and outdoors. It is important to remember about the permanent way of laying the cable.
