Data transmission cable – reliable communication in control and automation systems

The RD-H(St)H Bd 16x2x0,5 cable is an advanced solution designed for transmitting analog and digital signals in the frequency range up to 10 kHz. Manufactured by Zakłady Kablowe BITNER, this cable is used in automation, control systems, and anywhere reliable and safe data transmission is required. The construction with halogen-free materials ensures safe use, especially in places with increased fire safety requirements.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of 32 conductors, each built with a multi-strand copper core with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². The conductors are twisted in pairs, which minimizes interference and ensures high signal quality. The insulation made of halogen-free plastic increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke. Additionally, the cable has a common screen made of foil, which protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields. The whole is surrounded by an outer jacket made of another material (details regarding the material of the outer jacket can be found in the technical documentation).
