The XzTKMXpw 5x2x0.5 cable is a reliable solution for building telecommunication networks, both in cable ducts and directly in the ground. Designed for connecting subscribers to the central office and creating communication networks in buildings – intercoms, sensors or alarms. The cable construction with a hydrophobic gel provides effective protection against moisture, allowing it to be laid without additional protection, which translates into saving time and installation costs.

Construction and application

The cable consists of 10 single-wire copper conductors, insulated with foamed polyethylene with a layer of solid polyethylene. Paired bundles facilitate identification and connection management. The use of a moisture barrier in the form of an aluminum tape coated with an ethylene copolymer and a hydrophobic gel filling guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in difficult environmental conditions. Thanks to this, the cable can be laid directly in the ground, without the need for additional covers – just cover it with a warning tape. Designed for underground installations.
