PP-R 45° Elbow – Reliability and Durability in the KAN-therm System

This elbow is made of random polypropylene (PP-R) with a diameter of 25 mm, designed for creating 45-degree angled connections in water and heating installations. It is a component of the KAN-therm system, valued for its high quality and ease of installation. It ensures a tight and durable connection of pipes, minimizing the risk of leaks and failures.

The elbow is adapted to work in various conditions – both in cold water, hot water, and central heating installations. It withstands working pressure up to 20 bar (cold water), 10 bar (hot water), and 6 bar (central heating), and the maximum operating temperature is 90°C. This makes it suitable for both domestic installations and more demanding applications.

Installation and application

The elbow is connected to the other elements of the installation by polyfusion welding. This technique provides a very strong and tight connection, resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. The use of a 45° elbow allows for precise routing of pipes, bypassing obstacles, and creating aesthetic and functional installations. The fitting has plastic sleeves for welding/fusion on both sides, which facilitates integration with the KAN-therm system.

Safety and compliance with standards

The elbow meets the requirements of the PN‑EN 15874 standard, confirming its high quality and safety of use. It has CSTB, ITB, Lloyds, and PZH and ZiK certificates – this guarantees reliability and approval for use in residential and industrial construction. The product is covered by a 10-year warranty (in the case of individual construction – up to 15 years).
