Flanged bushing made of stainless steel 316L (1.4404) – for crimped connections

The bushing is made of stainless steel 316L (1.4404), designed for installation in crimped systems where corrosion resistance and long-term leak-tightness are required. Its construction enables a safe connection of a pipe with an outer diameter of 42 mm to a flanged component, while maintaining a controlled leak (LBP) – a key feature for installations in enclosed or hard-to-reach spaces.

The seal made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) ensures tightness under the pressure and operating temperatures typical for heating and sanitary installations. The effective sealing length is 7 mm – sufficient for a stable crimp without risk of seal twisting or damage during assembly.

Dimensions: 37 mm length, pipe outer diameter 42 mm, DN 40 – corresponding to standard dimensions of copper and stainless steel pipes used in water supply and heating systems. The material of both connection components – both the bushing and the flange – is 316L, eliminating the risk of galvanic corrosion when connecting with other stainless steel elements.

Installation requires no additional tools beyond the crimping tool – the bushing acts as an intermediate component that compensates for dimensional tolerances and ensures consistent connection quality. There is no need for additional seals or pastes, as the EPDM seal is pre-installed and precisely positioned.

Designed for systems where durability and maintenance-free operation are critical – e.g., underfloor heating, concealed installations within walls, district heating systems in public buildings. No periodic leak-tightness checks are required thanks to the designed LBP function.
