Stainless Steel Flanged Sleeve for Press-Fit Connections

Designed for use with press-fit systems, the stainless steel flanged sleeve made of 316L (1.4404) stainless steel ensures corrosion resistance even in aggressive environments – for example, in district heating, water supply, or industrial installations using water with high salt or chloride content. The material is identical on both ends of the connection, eliminating the risk of galvanic corrosion when assembled with other components of the same class.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) gasket ensures tightness at operating pressure and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C. Its flexibility allows compensation for minor axial misalignments during pressing while maintaining the seal under cyclic temperature changes.

A working length of 9 mm means that during installation, only the pipe end needs to be properly prepared – there is no need to exceed the permissible technical tolerances. The total length of 29 mm and outer diameter of 18 mm are compatible with standard pressing tools, requiring no additional calibration or adaptation.

The LBP (Leak-Before-Press) controlled leak function acts as an additional safety layer: if the connection is damaged or improperly pressed, water does not leak violently but slowly through the micro-gap between the sleeve and the pipe. This provides time to detect the error before major damage occurs.

Installation is simple: the sleeve is slid onto the pipe and then pressed using a special tool. No welding, threading, or additional gaskets are required – everything is integrated. For the installer, this means time savings and reduced risk of errors. For the end user – durability and no need for maintenance.
