ultraPRESS brass connector – a reliable installation element

This ultraPRESS brass connector, made of high-quality CW617N material, is a key component in KAN-therm press systems. Designed to connect homogeneous and multilayer pipes with a diameter of 16 mm, it provides a durable and leak-proof connection in water and heating installations. Its construction is designed for ease of installation and long-term reliability.

Functionality and application

This connector is used in the construction of internal water supply installations (hot and cold domestic water), central heating, as well as in technological heating systems and industrial installations (e.g. compressed air). Thanks to the possibility of concealing connections in floors, it offers design flexibility. The use of a pressing ring with U and TH clamping profiles guarantees a secure connection, resistant to high pressure and temperature. Additionally, the stainless steel pressing ring provides corrosion resistance.

Controlled Leak LBP – safety first

A key feature of the connector is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function. This means that in the event of incorrect pressing of the ring, a visible leak will occur, allowing the error to be detected before the installation is put into use. This is an important safeguard for installers and end-users, minimizing the risk of failure and costly repairs. The EPDM O-ring seal further increases the tightness of the connection. Diameters 50 and 63 mm do not have a ring identifying the diameter – simplifying visual identification.
