Reduction connector for installations – leak-proof connections

This PPSU ultraPRESS reduction connector with diameters of 25/16 mm is an element of the KAN-therm system, designed for connecting pipes in heating and sanitary installations. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures durability and safety of connections. The fitting is compatible with PEXC, PERT pipes with an EVOH layer and PERTAL pipes with an aluminum layer, providing great freedom in installation design.

Construction and application

The PPSU ultraPRESS connector allows for reducing the pipe diameter from 25 mm to 16 mm. It is designed for press connections, which guarantees tightness and reliability. The use of PPSU (polyphenylene sulfone) material provides resistance to high temperatures and pressures, as well as chemical resistance. Additionally, stainless steel 1.4301 used for the crimping sleeve increases strength and corrosion resistance. The EPDM O-ring seal ensures long-lasting tightness of the connection.

LBP function and universal clamp

A key feature of this connector is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function, which allows for detecting an incorrectly made connection even before the installation is put into use. The U and TH clamp profile makes the connector compatible with most crimping jaws available on the market, making it easier for installers to work. The ability to run installations in building partition layers (in floor screed and under plaster) without restrictions is another advantage of this product – thanks to the materials used, there are no concerns about the impact on the durability of the building structure.
