PPSU ultraPRESS reducing tee – a leak-proof installation element

The PPSU ultraPRESS reducing tee 32/26/32 is a key element of the KAN-therm system, designed to connect pipes of different diameters in water and heating installations. Made of high-quality polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, even in harsh conditions. Its construction allows for quick and reliable press-fit installation, minimizing the risk of errors and leaks.

Construction and application

This reducing tee connects three press-fit connections – two with a diameter of 32 mm and one with a diameter of 26 mm. A 90° bending angle makes it easier to run the installation in tight spaces. It is compatible with both multilayer and solid pipes, making it a universal solution for different types of installations. The use of crimp sleeves ensures the tightness and durability of the connection.

Functionality and benefits

• Controlled LBP leak: The built-in LBP (Leak Before Press) function allows for easy detection of an improperly made connection – in the event of incomplete crimping, a small water leak occurs, allowing correction of the error before flooding the installation. This is a great convenience for both the installer and the end user.

• C and TH crimping profiles: Compatibility with “C” and “TH” crimping profiles (depending on the diameter) increases installation flexibility and allows the use of various KAN-therm ultraPRESS LBP and KAN-therm ultraPRESS crimping jaws. Remember – profile “C” or “TH” is recommended for diameters up to 26mm.
