PPSU ultraPRESS Reducing Tee – Reliability and Leak Control

This reducing tee made of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) is a component of the ultraPRESS system, designed to connect pipes of different diameters – in this case 40/25/40 mm. It is an ideal solution when connecting pipes of different diameters in an installation, e.g., when connecting devices or branching the installation. Made of PPSU, it is characterized by high resistance to temperature and pressure, guaranteeing long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Design and application

The tee has three socket connections, allowing for quick and secure installation by crimping. A 90-degree bend provides a compact and aesthetic connection. It is compatible with both homogeneous and multilayer pipes, increasing its versatility. Used in water, heating installations and underfloor heating systems.

• LBP (Leak Before Press) function: A key feature of this tee – the LBP controlled leak function. This means that in the event of incorrect crimping of the connection, a leak will occur before the installation is fully loaded. This allows for quick identification and repair of the defect, minimizing the risk of more serious failures.

• EPDM O-ring seal: Guarantees the tightness and flexibility of the connection, compensating for small irregularities and thermal movements of the installation.

• Diameter identification ring: Facilitates the identification of the tee size during installation and servicing of the installation – saves time and minimizes the risk of errors.
