PPSU ultraPRESS Tee – a leak-proof installation element

The PPSU ultraPRESS tee with a diameter of 20 mm is a key element of the KAN-therm system, designed to create durable and tight connections in water supply, heating and industrial installations. Made of high-quality polyphenylene sulfide (PPSU), it provides corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, guaranteeing long-term reliability. The fitting is intended for connecting multilayer and homogeneous pipes using the crimping method.

Design and application

This tee, with a 90-degree angle, has three socket connections, allowing for easy and quick creation of branches in the installation. The LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function is an additional safety feature – in the event of incorrect crimping, a leak will occur before the installation is put into use, allowing the error to be detected and repaired. The diameter identification ring (not available for diameters 50 and 63 mm) facilitates the correct selection of crimping jaws during crimping. The EPDM O-ring seal provides additional tightness of the connection.
