Reducing tee for KAN-therm ultraPRESS installation

This PPSU reducing tee, with dimensions 32/20/32 mm, is a key element of the KAN-therm ultraPRESS system, designed to create durable and safe connections in water supply, heating and cooling installations. Made of high-quality polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU), it provides resistance to high temperatures and pressures, as well as corrosion.

The tee allows reducing the pipe diameter from 32 mm to 20 mm and back to 32 mm, providing flexibility in design and adapting the installation to individual needs. It is compatible with both multilayer and solid polyethylene pipes.

Application and installation:

The ultraPRESS PPSU tee utilizes pressing technology, which guarantees the tightness and reliability of the connection. The process of pressing a steel ring onto the pipe inserted into the fitting socket is quick and easy, requiring no specialized tools other than the crimping tool itself. It is important to use dedicated stainless steel clamping rings to ensure optimal connection durability. In addition, these tees are equipped with EPDM O-ring seals, which provide additional protection against leaks.

LBP function and diameter identification:

The fitting has a Leak Before Press (LBP) controlled leakage function, which allows visual control of the connection correctness before its final crimping. In case of incorrect assembly, water will start to leak from the connection, allowing to detect and correct the error. The diameter identification ring facilitates quick recognition of the tee size during assembly and service. U and TH clamping profile ensures optimal fit to KAN-therm ultraPRESS pipes.
