PPSU ultraPRESS Reduction Tee – a leak-proof installation element

This PPSU ultraPRESS reduction tee with dimensions 40/32/32 mm is a key element of the KAN-therm Press systems, designed for connecting multilayer and homogeneous pipes. Made of polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU), it provides high resistance to temperature and pressure, making it an ideal solution for heating, cooling and water supply installations.

Design and application

This tee is designed for pressing, which guarantees quick and reliable installation. The use of the "U" or "TH" clamping profile (depending on the diameter) in combination with a stainless steel crimping ring ensures the durability and tightness of the connection. The reduction from 40 mm to two 32 mm outlets allows for flexible adaptation of the installation to specific needs.

LBP function and benefits for the installer

The fitting is equipped with the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, which allows detecting an improperly made connection even before the installation is put into use. This significantly facilitates the installer's work, minimizing the risk of later problems and costly repairs. Additionally, the diameter identification ring facilitates quick identification during assembly. The EPDM O-ring seal provides additional protection against leaks.
