Brass elbow for press fittings

This 90° elbow is made of brass (CW617N) and is designed to create durable and leak-proof connections in KAN-therm Press systems. It is a component of the KAN-therm Press installation system, which combines multilayer polyethylene pipes with fittings made of PPSU or brass. This elbow is used in water supply, heating, cooling and industrial installations.

Design features and application

The elbow has a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external gas thread with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm) and a clamping sleeve for press connection. The use of brass ensures high corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. A key feature is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function, which allows detection of an incorrectly made connection before the installation is put into use. The U and TH clamping profile further increases the certainty and tightness of the connection. The EPDM O-ring seal guarantees leak-proofness.
