This is a brass elbow with an internal thread, designed for connecting pipes in KAN-therm ultraPRESS systems. Design and application

The 90° elbow with an internal thread Rp½” is a connecting element for pipes at a right angle. Designed for crimping with multilayer PE-RT/Al/PE-RT and homogeneous PE-Xc and PE-RT pipes. It uses a crimping ring made of stainless steel, which guarantees the tightness and strength of the connection. Thanks to the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, an un-crimped connection is signaled by a water leak already during filling of the installation – this is an important protection against installation errors.
