ultraPRESS brass connector - a reliable installation element

This brass connector, made of high-quality CW617N material, is designed to create durable and leak-proof connections in KAN-therm ultraPRESS systems. It is ideal for both domestic and more demanding industrial applications. Its crimping technology-based construction guarantees connection safety and longevity.

Design and application

The connector has two socket connections, allowing connection of pipes with a diameter of 32 mm. It is compatible with multilayer PE-RT/Al/PE-RT pipes and homogeneous PE-Xc and PE-RT pipes, providing great flexibility in installation design and assembly. The use of a stainless steel clamping ring ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.

LBP function and diameter identification

A key feature of this connector is the controlled leakage function LBP (Leak Before Press). This means that if the connection is incorrectly crimped, a water leak will occur during the non-pressurized filling of the installation - before the pressure test is carried out. This allows for quick detection of the error and avoidance of more serious problems. Additionally, the diameter identifying ring facilitates quick recognition of the correct element during assembly (diameters 50 and 63 mm do not have a ring). The use of an EPDM O-ring seal further increases the connection's tightness.
