Brass fitting for KAN-therm ultraPRESS press systems

This brass fitting, GZ 32 x 1" from the KAN-therm ultraPRESS series, is a key element in water supply, heating, and cooling installations. Designed for connecting multilayer PE-RT/Al/PE-RT pipes and homogeneous PE-Xc and PE-RT pipes, it ensures reliable and leak-proof connections in KAN-therm Press systems. Made of brass (CW617N), it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance, and its design is intended for quick and efficient installation.

Design and functionality

The fitting features a compression sleeve connection with a 1-inch (25 mm) external metric thread. Its design is based on proven press technology using a steel ring, eliminating the need for screwing and welding. An important feature is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, which indicates an unpressed connection by leaking water during installation filling – this is an important protection against installation errors in accordance with DVGW recommendations. Additionally, the presence of identification rings facilitates quick identification of the pipe diameter during installation.
