This fitting, equipped with a tapered BSPT-R external gas thread (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) and a crimp sleeve, allows connecting multilayer and homogeneous pipes with a diameter of 40 mm (1 1/2 inch). Its construction based on crimping technology guarantees a secure and tight connection without the need for additional sealants. Additionally, the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function significantly increases the safety level of the installation – in the event of incorrect crimping, the leakage is visible before the installation is put into use. This allows for quick identification and repair of the error, minimizing the risk of failure.

Construction features and compatibility

This fitting has been designed with ease and speed of installation in mind. Crimp jaws with a “U” or “TH” profile (for a diameter of 26 mm “C” or “TH”) are required for its crimping, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of crimping tools available on the market. The diameter identification ring (not available in diameters 50 and 63) facilitates quick identification of the fitting size during work. The EPDM O-ring seal provides additional tightness and resistance to temperature changes. Thanks to this, the installation is durable and reliable for many years.
