Brass tee for ultraPRESS systems – a reliable connection

This brass tee with an internal thread, designed for the KAN-therm ultraPRESS system, is a key element in water, heating and cooling installations. Made of high-quality brass (CW617N), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in demanding operating conditions. Its construction allows for the creation of solid and tight press connections with both homogeneous and multilayer pipes.

Design and application

The tee connects three pipeline elements at a 90-degree angle. It has two press connections with a diameter of 20 mm (1 inch) and an internal cylindrical BSPP-G thread with a diameter of 3/4 inch. This solution is ideal for branching the installation or connecting additional elements, such as valves or branches. The use of brass guarantees not only mechanical strength but also resistance to the action of water and other media.

Functionality and safety

The fitting is equipped with a LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, which provides additional safety during installation. Thanks to this, any irregularities in pressing are immediately visible, which helps to avoid problems in the future. The diameter identification ring facilitates quick identification of the element during work, and the EPDM O-ring seal ensures the tightness of the connection. The stainless steel pressing ring further increases durability and corrosion resistance. The U and TH clamping profile ensures reliable connection in various applications.
