This brass ultraPRESS tee with a diameter of 32 mm and a R1" thread is a key element of KAN-therm ultraPRESS systems, designed to create durable and safe connections in water supply, heating and cooling installations. Made of high-quality brass (CW617N), it ensures reliability and corrosion resistance, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and demanding end customers.

Construction and application

This tee is used to branch pipelines in systems made of multilayer and homogeneous pipes. Its construction based on press connections guarantees the tightness and strength of the connection. The external BSPT-R thread (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) allows for easy connection to other installation elements. Thanks to this, the tee finds wide application in residential, commercial and industrial installations.

LBP function and connection safety

The fitting is equipped with a controlled leakage function LBP (Leak Before Press), which provides additional safety during installation. In the event of incorrect crimping of the fitting, the leak will occur before the installation is fully loaded, allowing for quick identification and repair of the error. This is an important convenience for installers, minimizing the risk of failures and costly repairs in the future. Additionally, the diameter identification ring facilitates the correct selection of crimping jaws during crimping. It is worth remembering that diameters 50 and 63 mm do not have an identification ring. For the assembly of KAN-therm ultraPRESS LBP fittings, profiles of crimping jaws “U” or “TH” are recommended (for a diameter of 26 mm “C” or “TH”). For KAN-therm ultraPRESS fittings, profiles “U” (for diameters 16, 20, 25, 32, 40 mm), “C” (for a diameter of 26 mm) and “TH” (for diameters 50 and 63 mm) are used.
