Sliding coupling made of galvanized steel, designed for installation in systems with thin-walled pipes

The component is made of galvanized carbon steel with a zinc layer thickness of 8–15 µm – ensuring corrosion resistance in humid and aggressive conditions required for heating, cooling, or industrial installations. The use of steel as the base material makes the coupling resistant to mechanical loads and suitable for applications requiring rigidity and durability.

The fitting has a sliding design – it allows for compensation of length differences between pipes without the need to cut them. This significantly facilitates installation, especially in hard-to-reach places or with imprecise spacing between components. The installer does not need to measure perfectly or cut precisely – it is sufficient to slide the coupling to the appropriate position and crimp it.

The connection on both sides is a compression coupling – compatible with pipes having an outer diameter of 88.9 mm. The O-ring seal made of EPDM guarantees tightness even at high working pressure. The controlled leakage function LBP acts as an additional safety layer: if the crimping is not performed correctly, the fluid does not leak immediately – this gives time to detect the error and correct it.

No additional tools are required other than a crimping tool – installation is fast, clean, and generates no dust or sparks. Compared to traditional threaded connections, there is no risk of thread damage or loss of tightness under thermal loads.

It is worth remembering: this coupling is not intended for installation on aluminum or copper pipes – it works only with thin-walled steel pipes of the appropriate diameter. It is a system component, not a universal connector.
