The PPSU GW ultraPRESS connector - 16 Rp½” is a reliable element of the KAN-therm Press system, designed for connecting multilayer and homogeneous pipes. Made of high-quality polyphenylene sulfide (PPSU), it is characterized by exceptional corrosion resistance and neutrality to drinking water – guaranteeing long-term and safe operation of the installation. The connector has an internal metric thread with a diameter of ½ inch and a crimp sleeve, ensuring a tight and durable connection.
Durability and safety in one
The connector's design is enriched with the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function, which allows detection of incorrectly crimped connections even before filling the installation. U and TH crimp profiles further increase connection reliability, minimizing the risk of failure. The diameter identification ring facilitates assembly and ensures correct selection of crimping tools. The EPDM O-ring seal provides additional protection against leaks.

The PPSU GW ultraPRESS connector is perfect for water supply, heating and central heating installations. It is compatible with PE-RT/Al/PE-RT pipes with a diameter of 14-40 mm and PE-X/Al/PE-X pipes with a diameter of 50-63 mm, making it a universal solution for professionals and demanding users. The PPSU material provides high mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures (Trob = 80 °C, Tmax = 90°C), which translates into a long service life of the installation – even over 50 years.
