This two-sided socket, made of galvanized steel, is a key element of the KAN-therm Steel Sprinkler sprinkler systems. It provides a durable and safe connection of pipes in the range of diameters from 22 to 108 mm. Its design is adapted for pressing, which guarantees tightness and quick installation.

Solid construction and materials

The socket is made of galvanized steel (Fe/Zn88) with a zinc coating thickness of 8-15 µm. This coating provides high corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in installations exposed to moisture and variable environmental conditions. The use of steel guarantees mechanical strength and long-term connection reliability. The simple shape of the socket facilitates installation and integration with the remaining elements of the system.

LBP controlled leak function – additional safety

A key feature of this socket is the built-in LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function. This means that in the event of incorrect crimping of the fitting, a small water leak will occur, which will immediately signal the problem. This allows for quick identification and repair of the defect, minimizing the risk of more serious failures and ensuring the full safety of the fire protection installation. An O-ring seal further increases the tightness of the connection.

The socket has clamping connections (clamping socket on both sides), which allows for quick and easy installation using appropriate pressing tools. It is compatible with other elements of the KAN-therm Steel Sprinkler system, creating a coherent and effective fire protection installation.
