Copper Gas Tee - 28 2263257003
Gas installation tee – reliability and quick installation
This copper tee, designed for KAN-therm Copper Gas systems, is a key element of gas installations, characterized by high quality workmanship and ease of installation. Made of copper CU-DHP and bronze 2.109, it provides a durable and safe connection in gas installations. Designed for press connections, it eliminates the need for soldering, which translates to time savings and reduced fire risk during installation work.
Construction and application
The tee has two 28 mm clamping socket connections, making it ideal for creating branches in gas installations. The NBR O-ring seal guarantees tightness over a wide range of temperatures (from -20°C to 70°C) and pressures (up to 5 bar). This solution will work both in new installations and during the modernization of existing ones. The KAN-therm Copper Gas system was designed with safety in mind – the lack of the need to use open flame is a significant advantage, especially during work in hard-to-reach places or near flammable materials.
Advantages for the installer and user
- Quick installation: The "Press" pressing technology significantly speeds up installation work compared to traditional soldering.
- Safety: Eliminating open flame minimizes the risk of fire during installation and repairs.
- Durability: The use of high-quality CU-DHP copper and bronze 2.109 guarantees long-lasting and reliable operation.
- Tightness: The NBR O-ring seal ensures a tight connection over a wide range of temperatures and pressures.
- Versatility: Can be used in various gas installations, as well as compressed air, inert gases and vacuum installations (while maintaining appropriate parameters).
- Three-point clamp: Provides an exceptionally secure and safe connection.
- Savings: Short preparation time for installation and the lack of the need to use a soldering iron translate into lower labor costs.
The selection of the appropriate wall thickness of the pipe should be in accordance with EN 1057 R220/R250/R290 standard and the specification of the gas installation. The higher the value of R (e.g. R290), the harder the pipe – suitable for higher pressures and operating temperatures of the system.
