Auxiliary contact for KMP circuit breakers – expanding functionality

This side auxiliary contact, designed for circuit breakers from the KMP series, allows for increased control and signaling capabilities in the electrical installation. Mounted on the side of the circuit breaker, it offers an additional auxiliary circuit with one normally open (1NO) and one normally closed (1NC) contact. This solution is ideal for both professionals and end-users who need additional switching or disconnection points in their system.

Installation and application

The KMP-SAX11 auxiliary contact is designed for mounting on a TH35 rail, ensuring quick and secure installation in the distribution board. Its compact dimensions (89 x 66 x 9.3 mm) allow for installation even in limited space. Designed to work with KMP circuit breakers, it enables the expansion of existing installations without the need to replace the entire circuit breaker. This makes it easy to adapt the system to changing needs. The wire is connected using screw terminals with a cross-section of 0.75 to 2.5 mm², ensuring a solid and durable connection.
