This round recessed luminaire ring from GLOZO DSO W/W is a decorative and functional element designed for installation in the ceiling. It allows for aesthetic finishing of the luminaire mounting hole, while ensuring safe and stable installation. It is compatible with both 12V AC/DC and 220-240V AC powered luminaires.

Construction and mounting

Made of durable aluminum alloy, the ring is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage. Its diameter of 89 mm and mounting hole diameter of 75 mm provide versatility – it fits many popular models of recessed luminaires using Gx5,3 or GU10 lampholders. Installation is simple and intuitive, and the white color of the housing makes it easy to match different interior arrangements. It should be noted that the ring is not intended to be covered with thermal insulation materials.

Application and safety

The GLOZO DSO W/W ring is used indoors where a discreet and elegant recessed luminaire is required. The minimum distance to the illuminated object is 0.5 meters. Protection class II/III provides an appropriate level of safety. IP20 degree of protection means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm – therefore it is not suitable for rooms with increased humidity. The maximum power of the bulb that can be used with this ring is 10W. Compatible with MR16 and PAR16 light sources (not included). The ambient temperature range in which the ring can be safely used is 5-25°C.
