The GOVIK-ST DSO-W spotlight frame is an element of the Kanlux lighting system, designed to create subtle and functional lighting installations. Made of durable aluminum alloy, in white color, it will perfectly fit into various interiors. The diameter of 80 mm and height of 60 mm make the fixture discreet, while providing sufficient surface for the light source.

The GOVIK-ST fixture is characterized by a unique design – a matte acrylic diffuser effectively scatters light, hiding the installed light source and providing visual comfort. An additional light ring (in the ST version) adds a decorative character to the fixture, making it not only a lighting element but also an ornament. This solution will be appreciated by both those looking for practical solutions and those who value the aesthetics of interiors.

Installation and application

The purpose of the fixture is indoor installation, for built-in mounting in the ceiling. A mounting hole with a diameter of Ø67 mm facilitates quick and easy installation. Protection class II/III ensures safe use, and the IP20 degree of protection protects against accidental contact. The fixture is compatible with MR16/PAR16 light sources with Gx5,3/GU10 base – which gives a great freedom of choice of bulbs with different power (maximum 10W) and color of light. Please note that the product does not include a light source.

The use of a matte diffuser minimizes the risk of glare and ensures even light distribution. The minimum distance to the illuminated object is 0.5m – it is worth considering this when planning the arrangement of fixtures. The fixture is not intended to be covered with thermal insulation materials. The operating ambient temperature range is from 5°C to 25°C. Thanks to this solution, you can create effective spot lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens or offices.
