The round MORTA CT-DSO50-B ceiling light is a proposal for those who appreciate minimalist design and functionality. Made of high-quality glass in black, it is an elegant finishing element for any interior. It is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms (with appropriate precautions due to the IP rating). Its discreet appearance allows for free space arrangement, and the spotlight draws attention to selected decorative elements.

The fixture is designed for recessed mounting, which provides an aesthetic look and eliminates visible mounting elements. Thanks to the use of an MR16 bulb with a Gx5.3 base (not included), it is possible to obtain precise and efficient lighting. The low rated voltage (12V AC/DC) guarantees safe use, and protection class III minimizes the risk of electric shock.

Construction and mounting

The MORTA CT-DSO50-B fixture is characterized by a simple construction, which makes it easy to install. A hole with a diameter of 65-70 mm is required for installation. The power supply wires are connected using free ends (cross-section 0.75 mm²), giving the installer full freedom to adapt to the existing electrical installation. The small height of the fixture (28 mm) makes it ideal for rooms with low ceilings. It is worth remembering to maintain a minimum distance of 0.5 m from the illuminated object.

Application and safety

This spotlight is perfect as accent lighting or as a supplement to the main light source. The possibility of using self-shielding lamps increases comfort and minimizes the risk of glare. The fixture has an IP20 protection rating, which means protection against touching with a finger and against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm – therefore, it should be avoided in places exposed to direct contact with water. The ambient temperature range in which the fixture can operate is from 5°C to 25°C. It should be remembered that the product is not intended for mounting on flammable materials or covering with thermal insulation material.
